Morning Sickness
Nausea and vomiting during early pregnancy is called morning sickness. Most pregnant women but not all experience morning sickness to some degree. It can happen any time of the day but usually settles after the first 3 months.
If you experience morning sickness:
- Drink plenty of fluids; between meals rather than with meals and try sucking on ice pops or ice cubes
- Eat small meals
- Avoid foods high in fat
- Avoid strong aromas / odors
Breast changes
You may notice an increase in size and possibly some tenderness very early during your pregnancy and this can last for the entire pregnancy. You may need larger and more supportive bras.
Frequent Urination
This usually occurs early in pregnancy when the expanding uterus pushes against the bladder. It may improve mid pregnancy but reoccur in later pregnancy.
