Normal temperature for a child is 36.5 c to 37.2 c.

To reduce your child’s temperature

  • Remove outer clothing.
  • Sponge them down with luke warm water allowing the skin to dry.
  • Encourage your child to drink lots of fluids, water or milk feed.
  • Give your child temperature reducing medicine, read the instructions first and get advice from your doctor.
