About Us

Whatsupmum.ie is an educational project developed in conjunction with the HSE to bring together advice and support from healthcare professionals to new and expectant families. Whatsupmum.ie/diabetes focuses on diabetes in pregnancy – for women with pre-existing diabetes (type 1 and type 2) and women who develop diabetes in pregnancy (gestational). It gives comprehensive information about preparing for pregnancy if you have diabetes and caring for yourself with diabetes in pregnancy and afterwards.

We endeavour to keep this information updated and in line with the HSE and WHO recommendations. However, as medical information changes rapidly, some information may be out of date or possibly inaccurate. If you find information on our site that you believe to be in error, please let us know along with your source information through the Contact Us link.

Should you require any further information or have any suggestions / comments on how we can improve this service, please do not hesitate to Contact Us.
